Goodreads Summary
From the bestselling author of the Blood Ties series comes a stand-alone vampire romance. Buried in the Heartland is a town no one enters or leaves--until Graf McDonald somehow becomes its first visitor in more than five years. Original.
My Thoughts
Just finished this! I thought it flowed well and I adored Graf, although the chemistry between him and Jessa was mostly based on sexual attraction. Like holy-moly you're foxy and I'm into hick/sexy farm chicks. I think I love you?
Just saying. I would have liked this novel 10 times more if there was something deeper to their connection, not just that they were stuck together, needed each other for protection, oh and they were both REALLY hot so they got together. It kind of made it look like sex was casual and to me it's something very special.
But other than that I liked Jessa too, if I was stranded in her situation I'd probably go crazy! Derek got what was coming to him, he was a jerk and not worth anyone's time
My younger readers, be warned and watch out for the sex!
This novel had its perks, I wouldn't read it again, but it was an okay read.
