Rating System

Hi All!

This is the method by which books will be rated. There will always be some sort of explanation assigned to every rating - hence the genies- and I would never just burn a book to the ground without properly explaining myself. I might question the author's motives now and again, but never without cause and not in an overly cruel manner. That is all.


5 genies: WOWZA. Yes, this is that book, the book you've been looking for! You need this novel in your life, take it from me.


4.5 genies: This was one helluva read, spectacular in the very most parts, and tugging rightly at the heartstrings. This book will warm your heart as it did with mine.


4 genies: A good read. I enjoyed this book, not quite loved it, but it isn't far off from being amazing.


3.5 genies: I couldn't make my mind up about you, you were almost there, almost perfect, but overall something was missing. Still a special piece of literature, though, 3 and a half moons.


3 genies: Nothing was too incredible, but I'm not burning this book with fire. Give it a try!


2.5 genies: This novel had its perks, I wouldn't read it again, but it was an okay read.


2 genies: I wanted to like this, I really did, but too much was left under-developed and there was far more bad than good.


1.5 genies: Something saved this book from completely sucking. Otherwise, it would be forgettable at the very best, and yet, there were redeemable qualities somewhere.


1 genie: it wasn't that great, obviously, and I would NOT recommend the read.
